Magdalena Jensen is a Polish music manager whose professional aim is to promote Polish music abroad and help foreign bands enter the Polish market. During her career, she has succesfully worked with Brodka, Paula & Karol, Rebeka and Eric Shoves Them in His Pockets.
Between 2011-2013, Magdalena coordinated the CJG European Music Fair, where she was responsible for the whole project including international cooperations and working with key Polish music institutions (ZAiKS, Kino Polska Muzyka, StoArt, Sony).
As a big music industry enthustiast and professional, she travels to conference festivals around the world - SXSW, Canadian Music Week, Reeperbahn Festival, The Great Escape among others. Magdalena promotes the Polish music market abroad by speaking regularly on panels.
Magdalena has also worked for the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Polish Radio External Service and Polish Radio One. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
Currently, she is the co-founder and owner of What's There Agency, where she works on Polish music export, organizes tours and offers full 'import' services for bands seeking Polish fans.
