Misia Furtak is a singer, bassist and journalist born in Zielona Góra, Poland. She is a member of indie rock group Très.b and performs solo as Misia Ff.
Misia graduated from Maastricht University in Media Culture, Collegium Civitas in Fusion Journalism and holds additional diplomas and certificates issued by a.o Berklee College of Music and Testrup Hojskole in Denmark. In 2011 she received The Fryderyk award for Best Debut of the Year. In 2013 she was awarded the prestigious Paszport Polityki.
Très.b's third album, "40 winks of courage" is of special interest for all Bitspiration Festival participants. Misia and her bandmates decided to gather part of the album budget by using crowdfunding and the campaign was a success. She is also known for experiments with extraordinary forms of music promotion.
