Over a decade of experience as an analytical thinking product growth strategist with a strong product management and user interface design background, Zack Onisko is a startup generalist with a proven track record of growing startups from nothing to multiple hundred million dollar valuations.
Zack is currently Head of Growth & Marketing focused on consumer marketplaces at Autodesk. He works out of Autodesk’s Pier 9 Maker Space in San Francisco.
Previously, he was Chief Growth Officer at Creative Market, a digital design assets marketplace where he led the company to 15 consecutive months of 26% month-over-month revenue growth, which led to the successful acquisition by Autodesk.
Before Creative Market, Zack co-founded the team at BranchOut, a professional networking app built on the Facebook Graph. Zack designed the product and then led an internal growth team to grow the database to 800 million profiles in a little over 90 days. BranchOut has raised $49 million from Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Mayfield Fund, Norwest Venture Partners and a dozen of the top angel investors in Silicon Valley.
Prior BranchOut, Zack ran product and design at SuperFan, a profitable social entertainment site that produced social games for clients including CBS, MTV, Universal Music, Warner Music and others.
Before that, Zack was a product manager and designer at Tickle, one of the largest social media sites on the Internet at the time and with over 200 million registered users. Tickle operated as a profitable company with close to $40 million of annual revenue. In 2002, Tickle won the “Rising Star” Webby Award as the fastest growing site on the Web and became a top 20 global Internet site. In 2004, Tickle was acquired by Monster Worldwide for over $100 million.
